The ISU confirmed Aleksandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky for the French event, and Ekaterina Chikmareva and Matvey Yankovenko for the Finnish leg.
The International Skating Union (ISU) has included Russian pairs Aleksandra Boykova–Dmitry Kozlovsky and Ekaterina Chikmareva–Matvey Yankovenko in the entry lists for the figure skating Grand Prix series. Boykova and Kozlovsky will compete in France on October 23–25, while Chikmareva and Yankovenko are listed for Finland on November 20–22.
Russian Figure Skating Federation secretary general Alexander Kogan said invitations from the French and Finnish organisers arrived on Friday evening, before the competition in Batumi. The pairs received places after Hungary’s Maria Pavlova and Alexei Sviatchenko withdrew. The Russian teams had been first and second on the reserve list.
Kogan said Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Galliamov had become the first alternates. The federation hopes they may still get into an event and is working on visas for all three pairs. The ISU previously cleared Russian skaters to compete under the organisation’s neutral status.
