UEFA gives FIFA until November 2 to provide governance documents and answers
UEFA has written to FIFA demanding documents and answers about its governance and decision-making by November 2, BBC Sport reported after seeing the letter.
UEFA general secretary Theodoros Theodoridis said fundamental questions remained unanswered. An eight-page attachment covered FIFA Forward Enterprise, the FIFA Peace Prize and a disciplinary decision involving USA striker Folarin Balogun at the 2026 World Cup.
UEFA requested an explanation for each refusal to provide information or documents. It said the questions should be answered before the next FIFA Council meeting.
At the previous week's council meeting, FIFA president Gianni Infantino apologized over the proposal to sell World Cup rights and invited written questions.
