Aeroflot and Pobeda sign workplace-safety agreements

Aeroflot agreed with the National Association of Occupational Safety and carrier Pobeda to work on preventing workplace risks and assessing conditions for Boeing 737-800 crews.

Aeroflot signed two cooperation agreements during Russia’s All-Russian Occupational Safety Week. The airline’s press service announced the agreements, and aviation publication AEX also carried the report.

The first agreement is with the National Association of Occupational Safety. The partners plan to develop systems for preventing workplace accidents and occupational risks, share workplace and production-safety practices, and improve occupational-safety management.

The second document was signed with airline Pobeda. It covers special assessments of working conditions for flight crews. The companies also plan to streamline and standardize internal procedures, including environmental-impact assessments and measurements of harmful and hazardous factors at the workplaces of Boeing 737-800 crews.

Aeroflot said it focuses on safe working conditions, preventing occupational risks and involving employees in shaping the workplace environment. The announcement did not specify a timetable or quantitative targets for the agreements.
