Two killed in motorcycle collision on NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh

Two others were seriously injured in the crash near Nakkapalli, police said.
Two people were killed and two others seriously injured when motorcycles collided on National Highway 16 near Nakkapalli in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli district late on Thursday. The Hindu reported the incident, citing police.
According to preliminary police information, one motorcycle was travelling from Addu Road when it collided with another vehicle crossing the road divider. The victims were identified as 38-year-old S. Nookaraju and 30-year-old P. Suribabu, residents of Saripalli village.
Local residents took the injured, Nageswara Rao and Ramakrishna, to hospital. Nakkapalli police registered a case. The report did not give a possible cause of the collision, and the circumstances are being investigated.
