Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry expects to submit amendments to the State Duma before the end of the year to align conditions for Russian and foreign marketplace sellers. Minister Anton Alikhanov announced the plan at a State Council industry commission meeting.

The proposals primarily concern commissions charged by platforms. Alikhanov said Russian producers should not face worse terms than foreign suppliers.

The minister said some proposals had already been agreed between ministries and the package was ready for submission. He urged the Economic Development Ministry to accelerate the work. Changes to platform-economy legislation could be introduced in several stages.
