Alinea Analytics estimates EA Sports FC 27 sales at 7.9 million

The game generated an estimated $714.1 million for Electronic Arts in its first weeks, analyst Rhys Elliott said. The calculation covers PlayStation, Xbox and Steam, not every platform.
Alinea Analytics estimates that EA Sports FC 27 has sold about 7.9 million copies since its September 25 release. Analyst Rhys Elliott’s figures put revenue at about $714.1 million across the three platforms tracked — PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. The figures are a third-party estimate, not a sales report from the publisher.
PlayStation accounted for 77.1% of the tracked sales, Xbox for 15.9% and Steam for 7%. The report separately noted the contribution of previous-generation consoles: the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions generated 12% of total revenue. The data do not cover Nintendo Switch sales or purchases through the EA App.
According to Elliott’s estimate, fans bought more than half of the copies during early access, which ran from September 18 to 25. France was the largest market by revenue, generating $82.5 million for the publisher. The United States and the United Kingdom followed.
In Alinea Analytics’ revenue ranking of new 2026 games, EA Sports FC 27 moved ahead of Resident Evil Requiem, which analysts put at $558 million. Forza Horizon 6, Crimson Desert and 007 First Light completed the top five. The rankings are based on the firm’s estimates, not sales figures disclosed by Electronic Arts.
