Altai selects 25 veterans for farming development grants

The Altai Republic has completed selection under the Agromotivator program, allocating 120 million rubles to the winners.
Regional head Andrey Turchak said the commission reviewed 39 applications and selected 25 recipients. This is the republic's first participation in the farming support program for veterans of the war in Ukraine.
The winners come from Ulagansky, Ust-Kansky, Shebalinsky, Ongudaysky, Ust-Koksinsky and Kosh-Agachsky districts. Selection had been under way since August.
Each recipient has been awarded 4.8 million rubles for agricultural machinery, livestock and farm development. The equal grant amount for 25 winners accounts for the announced total of 120 million rubles.
Turchak said the republic's Agriculture Ministry should transfer all funds by the end of October. The announcement confirms completion of selection, rather than receipt of the money or purchases of equipment by the winners.
