The Deportivo de La Coruña forward says he is feeling better each day and no longer needs crutches. He plans to increase his workload gradually.
“For the first time in my career, I have had an injury that kept me out for more than 10 days,” the 37-year-old Gabon international said on the club’s official website. He added that he feels no discomfort in his knee and joked that it is “completely new.”
Aubameyang joined Deportivo from Marseille in July. He has scored five goals and provided two assists in seven Spanish league appearances this season.
The club published his comments on October 8. In an interview with AS, he also said he intended to return to training loads step by step.
