Belgorod authorities report three people injured in drone attacks

Two men and a woman were injured in drone attacks in Russia's Belgorod region on October 9, the regional operations headquarters said. The incidents occurred in Volokonovka, Valuyki and Vesyolaya Lopan.
An FPV drone struck a truck in Volokonovka. The operations headquarters said the driver suffered shrapnel wounds to his back and chest. The official statement cited by Interfax said he was being taken to Valuyki Central District Hospital.
A woman in Valuyki suffered acoustic and pressure-related trauma when a drone exploded. She received medical assistance. A vehicle and transport infrastructure were damaged at the site.
In Vesyolaya Lopan, a drone exploded in the parking lot of a commercial property. A man there suffered shrapnel wounds to his chest, shoulder and lower leg. Two vehicles were damaged.
In Belgorod, an FPV drone explosion damaged the roof of an apartment building. The headquarters said residents were unharmed. Officials also reported damage to an administrative building, a social facility, a private home and vehicles in other communities.
The three injuries relate to a specific group of attacks described by the headquarters on the evening of October 9. They are not a regional total for the day, as other injuries had been reported earlier. The headquarters attributed the attacks to Ukrainian forces.
