Blogger reworks her mother-in-law’s vintage wedding dress

Pavla Levkovskaya shortened a decades-old Valentino gown while keeping its bodice intact, then shared the look online.

Russian blogger Pavla Levkovskaya has attracted attention after wearing a reworked Valentino wedding dress that her mother-in-law wore more than 30 years ago, Lenta.ru reported.

Levkovskaya, known as paulabaloo on Instagram, first posted archival photos of her husband’s parents. She then showed her own wedding look, shortening the dress while leaving the bodice and lace top unchanged. The report said the video reached an audience of 409,000 subscribers. Lenta.ru also recalled a separate case in September, when a St Petersburg bride’s wedding was put at risk after she ordered a gown from AliExpress. A similar dress in a local shop reportedly cost about 100,000 rubles.
