Argentina’s Professional Football League has scheduled the Boca Juniors–River Plate derby for November 1. The match will be played at La Bombonera at 3 p.m. local time in the penultimate round of the Clausura regular season.
The league also announced the fixture calendar for rounds 13, 14 and 15. Boca and River will meet with both clubs seeking a place in the playoffs and points in the annual standings, which determine qualification for the next Copa Libertadores. The same stakes shaped the derby in 2025.
Their most recent Superclásico was played on April 19, when Boca won 1–0 at River’s Monumental Stadium. Leandro Paredes scored from the penalty spot. River later reached the Apertura final despite that defeat. Both clubs have since changed coaches. The November derby could be the first for Boca players Leonel Flores and Leandro Lozano, and for River players Nicolás Otamendi, Thiago Almada and Ángel Correa.
