The 11-outlet group O Momento da Decisão has moved its second-round presidential debate to that date.
Brazilian media pool O Momento da Decisão has scheduled its presidential debate for the runoff election for October 15, CNN Brasil, one of the participating outlets, reported.
The pool comprises CNN Brasil, Exame, Metrópoles, Novabrasil FM, Rádio Itatiaia, RedeTV!, Rede Vida, SBT, SBT News, Terra and VEJA+ TV.
The organizers said debates are important to the democratic process because they give voters a shared forum in which to learn about and compare the candidates’ proposals, positions and views, with the claims open to challenge.
