A civilian was wounded in a drone attack in Horlivka’s Nikitovsky district, the city’s mayor, Ivan Prikhodko, said. He attributed the strike to a Ukrainian drone. RIA Novosti reported the mayor’s statement, which he posted on his Telegram channel.
Horlivka lies about 50 kilometres north of Donetsk. The city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal-mining businesses. Before the conflict in Donbas began, its population exceeded 250,000, according to RIA Novosti.
