DeepSeek app returns to normal after morning disruption

DeepSeek's website and mobile app experienced disruption for several hours on October 15. The app was working normally by 1 p.m. Beijing time, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported.
Yicai reported that problems began around 8:11 a.m. in Beijing, or 3:11 a.m. Moscow time. DeepSeek's official status page posted a notice of partial unavailability affecting its web service and API.
During the disruption, the company reported investigating the cause and working on restoration. Users said they could not send chat messages, receiving a server error instead of a response.
RIA, citing Yicai, reported disruption lasting more than three hours. By 8 a.m. Moscow time, the agency's correspondent had checked the app and could use it normally.
