The open‑session workout gave coaches a chance to evaluate four players who have been sidelined by various ailments: Flowers with a hamstring strain, Hendrickson nursing a finger injury, Simpson dealing with a groin issue and Stanley coping with a toe problem.

Flowers missed the Ravens’ Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts after the hamstring strain and was listed as day‑to‑day by head coach Jesse Minter earlier this week; his return adds much‑needed depth at wide receiver, a position further depleted by rookie Ja’Kobi Lane’s fractured wrist suffered in the same victory.

Defensive end Trey Hendrickson, left guard John Simpson and left tackle Ronnie Stanley also participated in the session, suggesting the staff believes they can contribute or at least be fully assessed before the upcoming contest.

Baltimore will issue official injury designations later on Friday, which will confirm which of the injured players are cleared to suit up for Sunday’s showdown with the Saints.
