Officials reported that roughly 80% of the ring road has already been built, leaving the remaining work to be accelerated in order to meet the year‑end deadline.
The project, budgeted at ₹56 crore, is designed to provide a permanent solution to the town's escalating traffic problems by offering an alternative route for heavy vehicles and easing congestion on existing streets.
The minister instructed officials to speed up the remaining work, ensure timely completion, and implement measures at major town junctions to prevent inconvenience for commuters.
He emphasized that the finished ring road will improve overall connectivity, streamline vehicular movement, and support future traffic‑management needs for Banaganapalle.
