According to Glassman, the romance blossomed around the time she returned from college, and the pair dated from June 2009 until October 2009, ending their relationship shortly after the public divorce was announced on TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 in June 2009.
Glassman said a photo taken on her father’s yacht was leaked to TMZ, prompting headlines that labeled her a “mystery woman” and a “plastic surgeon’s daughter” who allegedly ruined a family of eight, a portrayal she insists was false.
She described the ensuing media frenzy as a personal assault, noting that tabloids even approached her at Indiana University, offering $100 for a “juicy story,” and that the relentless coverage contributed to the breakup of her short‑lived relationship with Jon.
In a confessional, Glassman reflected on how the scandal has continued to affect her life, saying the media “destroyed” her at age 22 and left her feeling as though a part of herself died without a funeral.
The Gosselins, who married in 1999, rose to fame on TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8, which aired from 2007 to 2009.
