The camp is designed to streamline a range of services for disabled residents, beginning with medical examinations and certification for the Unique Disability Identity (UDID) card, covering both new applications and renewals.
Officials will also use the event to identify beneficiaries eligible for free surgical procedures and to collect applications for educational assistance, maintenance allowances, bank loans and assistive devices.
Additional assistance will be offered for bus pass registration and renewal, as well as enrollment with the Welfare Board for Persons with Disabilities.
Aadhaar enrolment, along with corrections to names and addresses on ration cards, will be processed for attendees, aiming to reduce bureaucratic delays for this vulnerable group.
People applying for a new UDID card are instructed to bring their Aadhaar card, ration card, four passport‑size photographs and any prior medical records, together with both original documents and copies.
