Félix Lebrun to face Hugo Calderano in China Smash quarterfinal

The match is scheduled for October 10 at 2 a.m. Brasília time. It will be broadcast by SporTV 3 and CazéTV.

France’s Félix Lebrun and Brazil’s Hugo Calderano will meet in the men’s singles quarterfinals at China Smash. The French Table Tennis Federation’s schedule lists the match for 7 a.m. Central European time, equivalent to 2 a.m. in Brasília.

CNN Brasil noted that Lebrun beat Calderano in the bronze-medal match at the 2024 Olympic Games. In their most recent meeting before this tournament, in the Europe Smash quarterfinals in Sweden on August 15, the French player won 4–1.

The match will be shown in Brazil on SporTV 3 and on CazéTV’s YouTube channel. At the 2025 edition, Calderano reached the men’s singles quarterfinals at China Smash and advanced to the mixed doubles semifinals with Bruna Takahashi.
