On Giulia Salemi's podcast, the journalist discussed her creative bond with Claudio Santamaria, a message from one of his admirers and the minor domestic disputes the couple quickly resolve.
Journalist Francesca Barra spoke about her marriage to actor Claudio Santamaria on Giulia Salemi's podcast “Non lo faccio x moda.” The couple spend a lot of time together and share creative work, Barra said: Santamaria lets her read his screenplays, while she tells him about the scripts she prepares for television. She sees that mutual involvement as a foundation of their relationship.
Barra said she is not jealous of her husband and joked that Santamaria's female admirers have good taste. She recalled one episode that surprised both spouses: a woman whose biography described her as a “happy wife and mother” privately sent the actor a nude photograph and offered to meet. Barra said they were struck by the contrast between the woman's public image of family life and her private message.
The couple also argue over ordinary matters, including rubbish and who has done more around the house, but make up quickly, Barra said. She compared these exchanges to the comic domestic quarrels of Sandra Mondaini and Raimondo Vianello, stressing that the disagreements are not about serious issues.
