FSB describes alleged recruitment of detained Sevastopol resident in Kherson

Russia’s FSB said a Sevastopol resident detained on suspicion of treason was recruited by Ukraine’s SBU after applying for a Ukrainian passport in Kherson.
In a video released by the agency, an FSB officer said the man filled out a form at a migration office. The officer said the Ukrainian security service offered to help him resolve a financial problem. The detainee spoke in the same video about difficulties involving a Ukrainian bank.
The officer alleged that the man later photographed Black Sea Fleet vessels visible from his home’s balcony and sent the images and their coordinates to his handler.
