Kucherov moves to third among European NHL players in games with multiple assists

The Tampa Bay forward had two assists against Philadelphia, passing Henrik Sedin on the career list.

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov recorded two assists in a 4-1 regular-season win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

It was the 182nd NHL game in which the 33-year-old Russian had recorded at least two assists, according to the league. Kucherov moved past Henrik Sedin, who had 181 such games, into third place among European players.

Peter Stastny is second on the list with 193 games, while Jaromir Jagr leads with 266. Kucherov has four points, one goal and three assists, in three games this season.
