LG Electronics estimated third-quarter 2026 operating profit at 781.8 billion won (about US$583.8 million), up 13.5% from a year earlier, according to its preliminary regulatory filing.
Sales for July through September rose 8.9% year on year to 23.82 trillion won. The operating-profit estimate was 17% below the 941.7 billion-won market consensus compiled by Yonhap Infomax. Net profit was not immediately available.
The company said its home-appliance and vehicle-component businesses supported sales, while profitability in its television business improved markedly. LG also reported a double-digit year-on-year increase in operating profitability despite challenging conditions, including the war in the Middle East.
