LeBron James answers Trump's anthem criticism with slow-news-day remark

LeBron James responded to Donald Trump's demand that he apologize for his actions during the U.S. national anthem. The basketball star suggested the president was having a slow news day.
Asked by reporters about the criticism, the Philadelphia forward gave a brief answer about a slow day at the office, ESPN reported. Trump had called his conduct disgraceful and demanded an apology to American service members and those who died for the flag.
The dispute concerned a video taken before Philadelphia played the New York Knicks. James moved his arms as though rehearsing a shot while the anthem played. The 76ers won that game 106–100.
