The median salary figure for repair mechanics in Moscow reached 115,000 rubles in September, up 21% from a year earlier, according to a SuperJob analysis of vacancies and résumés prepared for RIA Novosti.
The increase was the largest among high-demand occupations with the most listings on the service. Electricians ranked second, with median pay up 14% to 125,000 rubles.
Process engineers ranked third, with a 10% increase to 160,000 rubles. Median figures for production and technical department engineers and baristas rose 7% to 160,000 and 80,000 rubles, respectively.
For sales consultants and truck drivers, the increase was 6%, bringing the median figures to 85,000 and 170,000 rubles. The figures reflect the service’s vacancy and résumé data and do not mean every worker in those occupations earns that amount.
