Meredov and Rubio outline schedule for Turkmenistan-US talks

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio outlined a schedule for further meetings and political consultations, Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry said.

They met in Samarkand on the sidelines of the Central Asia-US ministerial meeting. Both officials welcomed efforts to expand bilateral cooperation.

They also discussed the significance of the C5+1 leaders' summit held in Washington in November 2025. Both sides described it as a step towards consolidating their joint efforts to develop the partnership.
