The Tagansky District Court found the companies guilty of repeatedly failing to meet requirements for foreign internet platforms operating in Russia.
Each company was ordered to pay an administrative fine of 10 million rubles, the Moscow City Court’s press service told RIA Novosti. The requirements include registering a personal account on Roskomnadzor’s website, providing an online form for inquiries from Russian citizens and organizations, and opening a branch or representative office or establishing a Russian legal entity.
The court classified the violations as repeated failures to meet statutory obligations. The ruling concerns the companies’ operations in the Russian market. The court’s statement did not specify which requirements each company failed to meet or whether they plan to appeal.
