Moscow renovates passage between Kutuzovsky and Bagration avenues

City services have completed road and pedestrian-area repairs through the square locally known as the Apple Garden.
Nearly 1.7 thousand square metres of asphalt were laid on the roadway and more than 2.5 thousand square metres on pavements. Moscow authorities reported completion of the road and landscaping work on October 13.
Workers installed new concrete kerbs to separate vehicle and pedestrian movement. The repairs covered the passage itself and adjoining walking areas between the two avenues.
After resurfacing, crews restored the square's lawns. Soil was renewed and grass planted across more than 1.2 thousand square metres. That figure concerns landscaping rather than the asphalted area.
The announcement describes the extent of completed repairs. It does not announce a new road, a changed traffic layout or additional restrictions for drivers.
