Madesh and Satish win Saturday races at Madras circuit

Ishaan Madesh and Gyan Satish won the MRF Formula 2000 and Formula 1600 races at round three of the MRF Indian National Racing Challenge 4W. The Saturday results are provisional.

The races took place on October 10 at Madras International Circuit. Madesh, who missed the opening round of the season, finished ahead of championship leader Saishiva Sankaran. Krishay Gutte took third in Formula 2000.

In Formula 1600, Satish beat points leader Bhuvan Bonu, with Tanmay Kothari completing the podium. Both formula-category winners led from the start to the finish.

Viswas Vijayaraj extended his Formula LGB 1300 Open winning streak to seven races across three rounds. Vinithkumar and T.S. Diljith followed him home, giving DTS Racing all three podium places.

In the junior category, Neythan McPherson returned after missing the first two rounds and beat Kaveen Rajapaksa and Aadam Junaid. Diljith led another DTS Racing podium sweep in Super Stock, ahead of Lal Kattikulam Bharathan and Deepa S. John.

Aakash Vivek topped the MRF Saloons category for Toyota Etios cars, The Hindu reported. The published results were marked provisional and remain subject to confirmation.
