New kindergarten opens in Lyubertsy’s Yegorovo Park development

The Schastye preschool has opened with 12 groups, including two nursery groups for younger children.

The Lyubertsy municipal administration announced the opening on October 13. According to 360.ru, citing RIAMO, the kindergarten has capacity for 285 children. Its facilities include sports and music halls, creative activity rooms, a kitchen, a speech therapist’s office and a medical unit.

Each group has its own outdoor play area with a gazebo. The grounds also contain two sports areas, outdoor lighting and newly planted trees. The preschool was built under Russia’s Youth and Children national project.

A developer is also building a school with capacity for 1,100 pupils nearby. That project remains under construction, so the kindergarten’s opening does not mark the school’s opening. Municipal officials say 12 schools and 13 kindergartens have opened in the district over five years, serving nearly 18,000 children.
