One person hospitalised after two-car fire in Ulyanovsk

One person was injured in a vehicle fire on Robespierre Lane in Ulyanovsk on Oct. 13. Regional emergency officials said the person was hospitalised and the open fire had been extinguished.
The first vehicle caught fire in the Leninsky district and flames spread to a neighbouring car. Emergency-service reports and local publications confirmed that sequence.
Kommersant reported, citing regional police, that the cause was being investigated. The Emergencies Ministry did not identify a confirmed cause of ignition.
The initial Baza report described an explosion and a burning car. Later accounts offered theories involving petrol or gas equipment, but those theories do not replace an official finding.
The emergency-service statement did not specify the hospitalised person’s condition or the value of the damage. The confirmed developments are the spread of fire to a second vehicle and the end of open burning.
