ChatGPT is rolling out Intelligent UI, a feature that can turn answers into interactive diagrams, calculators and other visual tools.
The interface appears in the conversation and adapts to what the user asks. Examples include a diagram explaining how a slider works, a rent calculator and an airline seat map created for a Wired journalist.
Product manager Aarush Selvan said users can change elements in an interactive answer instead of reading a static explanation. ChatGPT is also meant to use fewer visuals when a user asks for them.
OpenAI began rolling out the feature to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise subscribers. The company said free users would get access the next day. The launch is gradual, so availability may vary.
OpenAI's announcement describes Intelligent UI as interactive visual answers embedded in the regular chat interface. TechCrunch also reported on the launch.
