Ana Castela and Lauana Prado, who were part of the previous lineup, will not appear in this edition. CNN Brasil reported that Prado’s press office said the singer likes the project and welcomes the expanded lineup. The broadcaster selects the performers, the statement said, and Prado remains open to taking part and has no exclusive contract with a television network.
Roberta Miranda is marking 40 years in her career this year. Yasmin Santos is among the newer generation of sertanejo performers. TV Globo’s announcement describes the special as bringing together different generations of the genre and confirms the participation of Maiara & Maraisa, Simone Mendes, Paula Fernandes and Naiara Azevedo.
The previous Amigas special was recorded at Globo Studios in November 2024 and aired on December 18. It featured Ana Castela, Lauana Prado, Maiara & Maraisa and Simone Mendes, with a repertoire spanning sertanejo styles from traditional moda de viola to major hits.
