Polish training drone falls onto private property near Warsaw

A training drone operated by Poland’s Military Institute of Armament Technology fell onto private property in Józefów near Warsaw. The aircraft was unarmed and no one was hurt, TVP3 Warszawa reported, citing police.

Warsaw police spokeswoman Marta Sulowska said employees of the institute in Zielonka briefly lost contact with the aircraft. They quickly reached the site, secured the drone and took it away.

No property damage was reported. The incident occurred in the village of Józefów in the Nieporęt municipality, the regional Polish broadcaster specified.
