Russian military group claims overnight artillery strikes in two Ukrainian regions

The Russian Northern Group said it hit a Bohdana self-propelled gun, vehicles and drone-control posts; the claims were not independently confirmed in the report.

Russia’s Northern Group of Forces said its artillery units struck targets overnight in Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Sumy regions. RIA Novosti, citing the group, reported that a Bohdana self-propelled artillery system, a strongpoint, 10 drone-control posts, nine off-road vehicles and 64 Ukrainian service members were destroyed.

The statement also said artillery crews carried out more than 200 firing missions overnight in coordination with operators of unmanned systems.
