Shree Cement discusses ₹6,700-crore expansion in Andhra Pradesh

Shree Cement is considering an investment of ₹6,700 crore to expand in Andhra Pradesh, state Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath said. Company representatives met the minister in Visakhapatnam to discuss expansion plans, The Hindu reported, citing an official release.

The minister said the company was particularly interested in Kadapa, Palnadu and Anakapalli districts. If implemented, the plans could create employment and livelihood opportunities for about 3,000 people.
