SKA-Neftyanik beats SKA-Ural Trubnik 11-3 in Russian bandy cup

The Khabarovsk side won both Group B games and advanced to the playoffs alongside the Sverdlovsk club.

The final Group B match was played in Khabarovsk. The hosts scored 11 goals, while SKA-Ural Trubnik of Sverdlovsk region replied with three.

Vladimir Kalanchin, Kirill Butenko and Tuomas Määttä each scored hat tricks for the winners. Egor Akhmanaev added two goals. Evgeny Filippov scored twice for the visitors, and Egor Pavlyuk added another.

SKA-Neftyanik finished the group stage with four points at the top of Group B. SKA-Ural Trubnik took second place with two points. Both teams advanced to the playoffs. Arkhangelsk's Vodnik finished third and was eliminated.

The final stage of Russia's bandy cup is being held in Khabarovsk from Oct. 5 to 11.
