Swiss delegation visits Hyderabad’s innovation hubs

The group toured Skyroot Aerospace, T-Hub and T-Works. Telangana officials discussed intellectual-property protections and research investment.
A Swiss delegation led by State Secretary for Economic Affairs Helene Budliger Artieda visited three sites in Hyderabad: space company Skyroot Aerospace, startup incubator T-Hub and prototyping centre T-Works. The Telangana government said discussions included joint programmes for Swiss companies and student immersion opportunities.
State ministers D. Sridhar Babu, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao joined talks with representatives of the technology sector and global capability centres. Sridhar Babu said the state would engage with India’s central government on patent protections as it seeks research and development investment from Swiss pharmaceutical companies including Roche and Novartis.
The delegation was formally invited to the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026. Artieda said the visit offered a chance to see Hyderabad’s traditional character alongside the state’s modern innovation ecosystem.
