AliExpress reports eighty-four percent rise in Russian smartphone demand

AliExpress CIS reported an 84 percent year-on-year increase in smartphone demand on its platform in Russia during the third quarter of 2026.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 led the ranking by number of sales, moving up from fourth place in the second quarter. TASS reported the company's figures on October 9.
Redmi Note 15 Pro came second, while the previous quarter's leader, POCO X8 Pro, fell to third. The company also highlighted demand for affordable devices: half of the models in its top ten had an average purchase price below 20,000 roubles.
According to AliExpress analysts, eight of the ten best-selling models have batteries with a capacity of at least 6,000 mAh. All ten have AMOLED displays with refresh rates of 120 Hz or above. The growth figure concerns purchases on AliExpress and does not represent sales across all Russian retailers.
