ARC Raiders receives major Frozen Trail update

Embark has released Frozen Trail, a major update for ARC Raiders that adds a new map, enemies and weapons, along with changes to progression.

The update centres on the snow-covered Pendola Pass map, which features new weather conditions and events. It adds the Bully, Skulker and Hydra enemies, along with the Bantam and Stiletto weapons. The developers have also added cameras and a grappling hook.

The patch introduces the Outpost, which players can expand with modules, and a research station. Furniture designs can be found to furnish the base. The developers have revamped the skill tree and replaced Raider Decks with the Reward Pass system, which has free and premium tracks.

ARC Raiders is free to play from October 8 to 12 to mark the update’s release. 3DNews reported that the game’s peak concurrent player count on Steam exceeded 123,000 during the promotion, after remaining below 50,000 in previous months. The game launched on October 30, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Steam lists the standard edition at 3,220 rubles, with a 50% discount to 1,610 rubles through October 15.
