
The Danish group and Argentina’s Grupo One will launch three brands at Unicenter. The five-year plan calls for $50 million in investment and expansion to as many as 40 stores.
Jack & Jones, Only and Balmohk will open in separate spaces at the shopping mall. Jack & Jones will occupy 500 square meters on the first floor, Only will take 370 square meters on the second floor, and Balmohk will have another 500 square meters.
Jack & Jones will offer denim, basics and urban fashion. Only focuses on everyday clothing, while Balmohk emphasizes contemporary design, minimalism and functionality. Balmohk will be the first Bestseller label designed for a simultaneous launch in Europe and the Americas.
Bestseller was founded in Denmark in 1975. Its products are sold in more than 90 countries, and it operates about 3,100 stores across 47 markets. Grupo One, the Danish group’s Argentine partner, is led by Manuel Antelo, Sabine Mulliez and Pedro Aguirre Saravia. Its local portfolio also includes Decathlon and Kiabi. Grupo One also operates in Uruguay and Paraguay and plans to expand into Peru and Ecuador.
All three stores will offer a 20% discount on opening day. The first customers can receive vouchers worth 100,000 and 50,000 Argentine pesos. Customers who register on the brands’ local websites by Oct. 22 can use a special code to get a 40% discount.
