BJP chief accuses opposition of destabilising India amid Delhi protests
Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Nabin accused the opposition INDIA bloc and the CJP movement of trying to destabilise India on October 10, amid protests in Delhi.
Nabin alleged that opponents were acting with foreign support and warned of a firm government response. He presented no evidence of foreign involvement in the reported remarks. The claims are political accusations.
He associated the INDIA bloc with Rahul Gandhi and described CJP as an ally of Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party. He also accused opponents of refusing to accept election results and economic progress under Narendra Modi's government. Nabin praised Modi's 12 years in office, citing efforts against terrorism and the Naxalite movement.
Former minister Ravi Shankar Prasad separately defended the special intensive revision of voter lists opposed by protesters. He said it removes entries for deceased people, duplicates and ineligible voters.
