UCLA beats Oregon 17-15 after forcing seven turnovers

UCLA won at Oregon in college football, forcing seven turnovers and protecting a narrow lead in a tense finish. The Bruins' defence stopped a late two-point conversion that could have tied the game.

The teams met on October 10 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. UCLA improved to 5-0 and won at Oregon for the first time since 2004. The Ducks fell to 3-2.

Oregon quarterback Dylan Raiola completed six of 19 passes for 43 yards and threw two interceptions before being replaced. The Ducks converted only one of 12 third-down attempts and averaged 2.7 yards per rushing attempt.

The home team cut the deficit to two points late in the game but failed to convert for the tie. A UCLA penalty gave Oregon another attempt, but the Bruins stopped Jordon Davison's run to keep their lead.

Wayne Knight rushed for 103 yards and scored both UCLA touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving. Starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava did not return after halftime because of an injury. Ty Dieffenbach took over for the Bruins.
