Brazil’s exports to the U.S. rose 31.9% in September

Shipments of Brazilian goods reached $3.52 billion. Imports from the United States rose 2.1%, leaving Brazil with a monthly trade deficit of $910 million with the country.

Brazilian exports to the United States rose 31.9% year over year in September 2026, increasing from $2.67 billion to $3.52 billion. Imports from the United States rose 2.1% to $4.43 billion, leaving Brazil with a monthly trade deficit of $910 million.

From January through September, exports to the United States fell 6.5% to $27.46 billion. Imports declined 7.1% to $31.79 billion, and the trade deficit for the period reached $4.33 billion.

The figures were released by Brazil’s Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). The agency’s consolidated data confirm a 31.9% increase in exports to the United States to $3.52 billion.
