Brazil’s MRV&Co reports 456 million reais in quarterly cash generation

MRV&Co put its preliminary third-quarter cash generation at 456 million reais. The group cited, among other factors, US asset sales, while the adjusted cash figure for its Brazilian homebuilding unit showed a 2.28 million-real outflow.

MRV Incorporação generated 130 million reais when the effects of receivables assignments and a strike at state-owned lender Caixa Econômica Federal are excluded, the company said. The unit had reported a 349 million-real cash outflow in the third quarter of 2025. That comparison is separate from the current quarter’s adjusted figure.

In its preliminary operating update, MRV said the Brazilian unit recorded all-time highs in net sales and units produced. The company said it was focused on bringing sales, customer transfers and property registrations in line with launches and production, which it described as stabilised.

Net sales rose 29.6% year over year to about 3 billion reais. The company sold 11,015 homes, up 25.7% from the third quarter of 2025. The average price of an apartment sold increased 3.1% to 276,000 reais.

Launches rose 12.4% to 2.645 billion reais. The average price of a launched apartment was 284,000 reais, 0.7% higher than a year earlier. The figures came from a preliminary operating update rather than a full financial report.
