CSKA fans name Oblyakov their player of the month for September

Ivan Oblyakov has won CSKA Moscow's player-of-the-month vote for September, the club announced. The midfielder had already received the Russian Premier League's monthly award.

Oblyakov scored three goals in three league matches during September. His brace helped CSKA beat Zenit St Petersburg 2–1, and he scored again in the 1–1 draw with Rubin Kazan.

He also played the entire Russian Cup match against Rostov. CSKA lost that game 0–2.

In the club vote, Oblyakov finished ahead of Matvey Kislyak, Mohamed Azzi, Kirill Danilov and Joao Victor, RIA Novosti reported on October 10, citing CSKA's Telegram channel.

Oblyakov is 28 and has played for CSKA since August 2018. During his time at the club, he has won two Russian Cups and one national Super Cup.
