Dia's late double helps Rennes beat Auxerre 4-1

Rennes beat Auxerre 4-1 at home in the sixth round of France's league on October 11. Boulaye Dia scored twice in stoppage time as Rennes reached 13 points and moved into third place.

Esteban Lepaul opened the scoring in the 15th minute. Cameron Archer replied in the 25th, leaving the teams level at 1-1 at the interval.

Adrien Thomasson restored the home side's lead in the 53rd minute. Rennes held a narrow advantage until the closing stages, when Dia's two late goals settled the contest.
