Elena Starostina reports bruises after Orenburg car crash

Actress Elena Starostina said on October 17 that she had been in an overnight car crash in Orenburg. A hospital examination found a haematoma and bruising but no fractures, she said.

Starostina had attended the international Cadet's View film festival as an honorary guest. She said her flight back to Moscow had been turned around and sent back to Orenburg.

The crash happened on the way to a hotel. The actress was in the rear seat and said the main impact struck the car's left side. An ambulance arrived and took her to hospital.
