Receiver Chris Olave (hamstring), edge rusher Chase Young (calf) and long snapper Zach Wood (calf) were all added to the Saints’ injury report on Thursday, expanding a list that already included several other players.

Olave and Young were listed as limited participants in practice, but Wood did not take part at all. According to Nick Underhill of neworleans.football, Olave left practice as a precaution and his hamstring issue is not expected to become a problem, while Young’s calf soreness was described as mild, with the team remaining optimistic about his short‑term availability.

Wood’s situation is more serious. ESPN reporter Katherine Terrell indicated that the long snapper could miss four to six weeks due to a calf strain. The injury marks the first time in Wood’s ten‑year tenure with the Saints—since signing in 2017—that he has been sidelined for a game.

Other roster moves on Thursday included tight end Juwan Johnson, who was a limited participant after missing Wednesday’s practice due to illness, and linebacker Isaiah Stalbird, who remained a non‑participant because of a shoulder issue. Tight end Oscar Delp and edge rusher Cam Jordan each logged limited participation because of hamstring concerns, while running back Alvin Kamara was a full participant despite a knee complaint. Defensive lineman Davon Godchaux was given a rest day.

The additions to the injury report tighten the Saints’ depth chart ahead of the upcoming week, particularly on special teams where Wood’s absence could force the team to rely on a less experienced long snapper for upcoming games.
