The flag‑off ceremony took place at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Circle in Dharmavaram town at 10 a.m., where the minister unveiled the fleet of 72 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) that will be deployed across rural and urban areas to provide primary healthcare at the doorstep of residents.
According to the official press release, the MMUs are intended to ensure timely medical assistance, especially in remote locations where access to health facilities is limited.
Later that day, at 12 p.m., Yadav attended a National Deworming Day program at Girls High School near Kalajyothi Circle, where he helped raise awareness among schoolchildren about worm infestations and the importance of preventive care.
In the evening, the minister visited the NDA office in Dharmavaram to distribute cheques from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to families of patients undergoing treatment for serious ailments, providing financial support to ease their medical burdens.
The two‑day itinerary, scheduled for September 25 and 26, is part of a broader effort by the health ministry to improve health infrastructure, expand welfare schemes and address pressing public‑health concerns within the Dharmavaram Assembly constituency.
